Nathalie Emmanuel
Nathalie Emmanuel, a British actor, best known for her performance as Missandei (HBO's fantasy epic Game of Thrones) from the year 2011 until 2019, was a British actor. Emmanuel grew up in Southend-on-the-Sea a resort in Essex and found herself drawn to the performing arts from a young age. Nathalie's mother took note and her parents began enrolling her in dancing, singing and acting classes when she was only three years old. Emmanuel became a fast-growing actor and, by the mid-90s, she was playing the role of young Nala for her role in the West End production of the critically acclaimed musical "The The Lion King." Emmanuel began to audition at the age of a teenager to film and television roles. Her first breakthrough came in 2007, when she got selected to be Sasha Valentine, a British soap opera "Hollyoaks", (Channel 4 95from 2007 to). Emmanuel was Sasha Valentine's character for four years before leaving Hollyoaks at the end of 2010. Emmanuel got her next break just three years later after she was signed as Missandei in the HBO show Game of Thrones. She played the interpreter of Daenerys (played by Emilia Clarke). Emmanuel will go on to reprise her role in every subsequent seasons of "Game of Thrones"" up to the season's finale on May 19, 2019.
